- If you’ve ever lost your keys, even if someone has returned them they might have been copied first, so you would never know who had a set.
- If you’re moving into a new home again you don’t know how many sets of keys the previous owner had or who they may have given them out to so it’s better to be safe than sorry.
- If you’re going through a separation or divorce you may want to change the locks, possessions can often become an area of contention at times like this and you wouldn’t want to come back to half of your things missing.
- If your locks are old of difficult to use it might be time to replace them, you never know when they might fail at this point.
- It’s a good idea to change your locks every few years anyway, each year old technologies become obsolete as criminals catch up with lock manufacturers so it’s good to keep up with the latest security measures.
